Rattlesnake Ledge

For our first hike of the summer season we headed to Rattlesnake Lake and hiked the ledge. It came recommended by one of Matthew's favorite classroom helpers, a classmate's grandma, Joan Burton. Though she rated it moderate, it was probably more than moderate for Seth. Luckily, I had some jelly beans as motivation.
We enjoyed spectacular views at the top, but honestly, having three little ones running around up there was a little scary. Especially after Sethie lost a prized toy down a crevice and almost followed it down. But we recovered the toy and all made it down safely. I was glad to have company on this hike and wouldn't attempt it again without help.
