Sounders Game
To celebrate the end of the school we decided to treat Matthew and his friend Yutaro to a Sounders game. We opted for an evening game, despite the start time being approximately the same time as Sethie's bedtime. And of course, we went for the all-inclusive tickets because you can't beat all you can eat hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts (including the shells, if you're Seth), nachos, and soda.
We sat right on the front row of the upper deck and luckily managed to keep almost everything from going over the edge (I think that a few peanut shells may have slipped over the edge despite our watchful eyes).
It ended up being a really exciting game, the Sounders winning in the end by a score of 4 to 2. Matthew and his friend stayed in their seats watching almost the entire game. Seth didn't do quite as well, but that was expected. But our concourse walks ended up being productive, resulting in one of the highlights of the game . . . cotton candy!
