We took advantage of a warm Saturday for some putt-putt family fun. We've been once or twice before, but it's been a while. So, Matthew's current swing is best described as unorthodox...


Matthew has honed his skills at putting the ball toward the hole, realizing that it's off target, and running to hit the ball again as it is still rolling and before it gets too far away from the hole


Seth got some "expert" advice on how to swing...


...but then found a much easier way to get that ball in the hole (yes, he's putting the ball in the hole, not taking it out)...


Seth actually never got the idea of the game. He thought the best way to play the game was to hold his ball and his club all the time. He didn't ever want to put the ball down at the beginning of the hole to hit it. Instead, he just ran down the carpet, ball in hand and club dragging behind, to drop the ball directly into the hole. So, this was the typical image of Seth throughout the afternoon:


Someday, we'll all get the hang of the game and actually use some rules. But, until then, we'll continue having fun hitting our ball as it rolls close to the cup and getting a "drop in one" on every hole.
