Cardboard Vehicles

Now that both school auctions are over, I feel like I have a chance to breathe a little! The day after the last auction, a good friend threw me a baby shower. I was pretty hesitant to have anyone make the effort, but Jon convinced me that it would be good chance for me to get together with family and friends, which it was.

My family were kind enough to get us a new baby car seat. It came in an enormous box. As Matthew often does, he begged me to use the box to make something crafty. This is what he came up with:
Matthew's "submarine" provided both boys quite a few hours of fun. I really regret that I never got a picture of both boys squished inside it.

Not wanting to be outdone, Seth used Matthew's cutouts to make himself a "train."
I'm so excited that life is less hectic so that I can enjoy more timing imagining and playing with my boys!
