Saturday "Hike"

Attempting to take advantage of a rare sunny Saturday afternoon, we bundled up (it was sunny, not warm) and headed southeast to the Preston-Snoqualmie Trail. While I don't tend to count walking on paved trail as a hike, we did enjoy the hike-like setting. We enjoyed looking at lots of trees, little creeks and streams, views of the Snoqualmie River and the fields adjoining it, and at the end of the trail, a distant view of Snoqualmie Falls.

As an end of hike incentive, we stopped by the railroad museum in Snoqualmie to check out some of the old trains.

All in all, it was a great way to spend a sunny Saturday afternoon!
