Downloading is the first step . . .

I know I'm a bit behind on the whole blogging front. I wish that I could promise to pump out Christmas, Matthew's birthday, and New Years' Eve all in the next few days, but I know myself better than that. BUT, I do want to say that at least all the photos have been transferred from our camera and iPhones to the computer and that is the first step! And since this photo is a little random, I thought I'd throw it out here now.

Sethie loves to do things by himself. Every once in a while this comes in pretty handy. It's nice to be able to say "Sethie, go put on your boots and coat," and for him to actually do it. This doesn't happen consistently, but it does happen enough to almost make up for all the times when his "I-do-it"'s make me crazy.

This picture is of one of those times that he actually followed through. So his boots are on the wrong feet, his coat is on backwards and upside-down, and he's wearing goggles, but I really appreciate the effort. Besides, I think his result of my request was absolutely adorable.
