We went to Carkeek park, which is not too far from our house and right on Puget Sound. There is a "beach" at the park that Matthew and Seth wanted to play at. There are train tracks between the parking lot and the beach, so we got to walk over the tracks on a foot bridge.

When Jon got out his Blackberry to take pictures, Seth starting saying "call, call." When Jon told him that he was taking pictures, Seth thought it was pretty funny.

At this "beach", instead of seeing a high tide line in the sand, there's just a line of driftwood marking where the water doesn't cross. The driftwood does make for fun climbing.

The boys were most interested in throwing rocks into the water. It was fun to see Seth following exactly what Matthew did.

After a while, we had enough of the strong winds blowing in off the sound and decided to head back to the other side of the bridge and play on the play structures there. Matthew decided to lead out and Seth wanted to follow. Seth also refused to have any help walking up the 4 flights of stairs to the top of the bridge, so we got to watch big brother leading little brother all the way up.
