The boys had their semi-annual trip to the dentist this week. Matthew is a great teeth brusher, so much so that we generally don't even have to help him anymore. Seth is another story. His teeth brushing consistent of sucking the toothpaste off the toothbrush and then making in near impossible for us to help him "finish up" brushing his teeth. So, I wasn't really looking forward to the discussing with the hygienist and dentist the tartar and plaque built up on his teeth. Thankfully, they went pretty easy on me and attempted to be stern with Seth about letting his parents brush his teeth. As a fun incentive, they gave Sethie some of those pink tablets to chew on before brushing so you can see the spots that you miss.
Well, this morning after sending Seth up to brush his teeth (his dentist gave us the go ahead to let him "brush" all by himself in the morning, apparently the morning brushing doesn't matter as much?) he came down looking like this:
It turns out that he was a bit confused about the sequence, he thought the tablet came after the brushing. Oh Seth! The picture really doesn't do justice! Now, he's had a least one really good morning cleaning in the last six months. That stuff is hard to get off!
