We had hoped to get a picture of Jon and Matthew coming through the finish chute, but no such luck. I even scoured the official race photos (over 1000 images) for any sign of the two. I guess we have a few more years to perfect the finishing photo.

Kids Marathon
Matthew's second year running! I had forgotten how nutsy the event is. It's such a fun event, but it's a little ridiculous that with all the build up it takes half a day to run the 1.2 miles!
Hoping to attract the attention of the other Scotties that were running in the event so I could give them their bibs.

It is SO great that Matthew got to run in his very own race at such a young age. I bet that will give him so much confidence for the future! Our daughter Dana got to be in a play in 4th grade, and now she really believes in herself and considers that one of her gifts and talents, so she's still developing it and gets very eager and brave with all other auditions. It's such a great thing to see our kids developing their talents and having fun like this, with things that a lot of adults chicken out of!
