Tugboat Storytime
Twice a month the Center for Wooden Boats hosts a tugboat story time. Children can listen to maritime related tales aboard a 100-year old tugboat. I've been wanting to go for a while and the forecast was for sun, so I figured it would be a great day to be near the water. We got there a little early and were able to watch several seaplanes take off and land.

Since the weather was so pleasant, we listened to the stories on the back deck of the boat (obviously I'm ignorant of proper tug boat terminology). Apparently, when the weather isn't so obliging they hold the story time in the small galley, which would have been considerably less comfortable. Yay again for sunshine!
Seth was much more interested in all the boats and seaplanes than the stories.
After the stories, we explored the boat. Seth tried his hardest to find the fastest way off.
Matthew liked working with the instruments,
while Seth stood at the helm.
Unfortunately, the sun was short-lived and we're now back to rain and clouds. Hopefully we get some more of that summer weather soon so we can get back out to the water.
