About three months ago Matthew started a "Museum of Flight" sticker chart, and finally, finally he filled every spot.
Here are some shots of the day courtesy of Jon's blackberry (yes, we forgot the camera again):

KidsQuest Children's Museum
We decided to go children's museum hopping and check out the Eastside's museum with Grandmother Ruthie. Matthew's quite enjoyed the train table, although it was in the ages 0-3 area of the museum. However, a close second was the semi.

Seth's favorite was the water area.

Though smaller than the Seattle museum, it was a nice diversion. I'm sure we'll visit it again.

School's out for Summer
To celebrate Matthew's last day of school, we picked up a Jack in the Box grilled cheese sandwich and Grandma and headed down to the beach during a record low tide.
Preschool itself had been pretty exciting. It was bike day, so all the kids brought their own bike AND bike helmet and they set up a little race track on the blacktop. They also were treated to ice cream for their snack.
Of course I didn't bring my camera to record any of these events, but I figured the day was noteworthy none-the-less.

Beach Field Trip
Matthew went on his fourth and final field trip of the school year today. Pretty incredible for a 20 student 3-4 year-old preschool class, huh? We've loved Matthew's brave and daring teacher.
The class headed out to the beach to investigate the flora and fauna. While Grandma watched Seth I was able to explore with Matthew and his classmates. We saw several anemones, crabs, crows, seagulls and most importantly, sticks.

We also identified and classified several different kinds of seaweed.
It was a fun day! Thanks to Teacher Erin and Teacher Willow for being so bold as to take 20 preschoolers to the beach.

T-Ball Pictures
Matthew's went to the last day of t-ball today. I think we'll have to sign him up for another round later this year. We missed 3 of the 5 classes. That's right, we made it to the first and the last classes. Fortunately, I remembered my camera for the last class. Unfortunately, it ran out of batteries early on and it took me a while to realize that I had an extra one with me. So, I missed Matthew at bat. But here's a few of the action shots (or inaction as the case may be):

Water Table and Park Swings
We have been wanting to get Matthew a water table ever since it got warm. He loved playing at the water and sand parks in Eugene. Not wanting to get involved with the mess of sand, we decided that a water table would be okay.
We went to Toys R Us today and Matthew found the one he wanted...a table that is a sink. It actually has a little pump that has an intake at the bottom of the sink and a faucet that outputs the water at the top. It also happens to be the perfect height for Seth to stand up against.

Matthew also wanted to show off his sink and to give everyone a tour of our small backyard.
We also went to the park today and had to take a video of our boys swinging together. (Sorry the audio is so bad.)

Seth Crawls
Last week Seth finally decided that he was ready to crawl. Of course, he does it his own way. He pushes with a straightish right leg and kneels on his left leg. He's gotten pretty quick in this last week. However, I'm sure that he eventually move to a more conventional crawl. In the meantime, we think that his crawling is pretty cute.
In other Seth related news, he's also able to pull himself up in his crib. I guess it's time to lower the crib. Also, this morning he woke up with his diaper around his ankle inside his footed pajamas. I hope that this is an accident and he hasn't learned to take off his diaper.
